Williamson County Texas’ Place in Fighting the KKK

Did you know that the old Williamson County Courthouse in the middle of Georgetown, Texas played a key role in breaking the power of the Ku Klux Klan in Texas? If you take a visit to the courtroom in the old courthouse, you will see an impressive mural showing hooded Klansmen, flames and crusading prosecutor on the wall. The story behind it is the story of the beginning of the neo-Klan’s downfall.
