Everything I Need to Know about Life I Learned from Shuai Jiao

I’ve studied one type of martial arts or another for over thirty years. Switching from one to another hasn’t been a matter of choice; it’s just been the result of modern life, bouncing from one place to another wherever school or employment dictated. Recently I’ve been studying the ancient form of Kung-Fu known as Shuai Jiao. Unlike most of the better known forms of Kung Fu, Shuai Jiao emphasizes throwing the opponent to the ground with enough force to end the fight, obviating the need to grapple like Judo or Jiujutsu.
